ABOUT ME

User Centered

I am a user centered designer with a focus on user experience and service innovation. I like to dive into customer’s journeys and optimize their experiences while collaborating with both customers and stakeholders of different expertise.

I use prototyping and visualizing as a method to explore the user’s interaction, intuition and  experience. This way I aim to create or optimize existing products and services, allowing users to live their daily lives with the products they use supporting their values and routines.

Holistic & Visual

A starting point for me is to always design from a holistic perspective, this meaning I have a reflective attitude when designing and keep approaching the design process from different perspectives. My strength is keeping overview of the complete design process, its progress and which steps to take. Zooming into the smallest detail and zooming out again to see the whole picture.

Using a visual design thinking, I like to map the complete scenario at hand and, in this, take different perspectives into account. This tackles the complexity and allows for communication between all involved stakeholders and mutual understanding.

Research Based

I find research throughout the design process to be very valuable. Research provides stability during all phases of the design process, making design decisions more grounded.

I aim to use different methods such as journey mapping, interviews and literature review in order to be able to have this holistic perspective and gain as much insight as possible about the user, the client, their values and effect of existing methods or products.
